Lucknow Management Association playing key role in developing UP: Navneet Sehgal

Lucknow: The two-day annual convention of the Lucknow Management Association (LMA) on the topic ‘Governance Imperatives of Economic Transformation of Uttar Pradesh’ kicked off here on Friday.

Inaugurating the event virtually, the President of the Association and Additional Chief Secretary, MSME & Export Promotion, Navneet Sehgal (IAS), said: “The organisation has made a stellar contribution in enhancing the management technique with the motto reform, perform and transfer.”

 “Uttar Pradesh, as we all know, is on a high growth trajectory with multiple mega programmes to take its economy to one trillion dollars. To deliberate on this ambitious goal, we had organised our last convention in November, 2020, on ‘Imperatives of Creating one Trillion Dollar Economy for Uttar Pradesh’. Proceedings of this convention are available in the form of a book and can be made available to you on request”, he remarked.

He added: “Governance being an essential requisite for success of any transformation, as a sequel to last year’s convention, LMA chose the theme of this convention to address governance-related issues for some of the key components of economic development. We have selected for deliberations subjects like industry and infrastructure, HDI indices, rural transformation and agriculture and reforms in bureaucracy. You will be hearing from several domain experts on these issues and will be able to interact with them in the Q&A session.”

Rajiv Pradhan, Executive Director Lucknow Management Association along with A K Mathur, Vice President was also part of the panel. Among others who attended the webinar included Anubhav Mishra and Dr Kavita Pathak. They put a spotlight on how sustainable rural development can go a long way in developing the state.
