Postmaster General KK Yadav honoured 27 postal employees in Varanasi for their excellent work

The 75th anniversary of Independence Day was celebrated by the Department of Posts in Varanasi as the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. In a function organized at Varanasi Cantt Head Post Office Campus, the Postmaster General of Varanasi Region, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav hoisted the flag and honored 27 postal employees who have done excellent work in various fields.

On this occasion, Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Independence Day is not just a festival, but a model of pride and honor. We can contribute to the progress of the country by working honestly in our field and helping the people. Mr. Yadav said that, Amrit Mahotsav gives us an opportunity to feel the freedom afresh and be aware of rights as well as our duties recognizing  the value of independence and remembering the great men who sacrificed for the country.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that many welfare schemes of the Government of India are being operated through post offices. By reaching them to all the people of the society, we can give people their rights and fulfill our duties. This will be the real significance of Independence Day.

On this occasion, Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav honoured Assistant Director Ram Milan, Assistant Superintendent Ajay Kumar, Assistant Accounts Officer Santoshi Rai, Inspector of Investigation Vishwambhar Nath Dwivedi, Shrikant Pal, Office Assistant Shravan Kumar Singh, Lalit Kumar Singh, Shambhu  Prasad Gupta, Shambhu Kumar, Shashikant Verma, Vijay Kumar, Rakesh Kumar from Regional Office, Varanasi. Postal assistant Shobhanath, Atul Kumar Maurya, Anil Kumar Sharma, Shuyash Mishra, mail overseer Mahesh Prasad Shukla, postman Khaderan Yadav, Nikhil Kumar, M.T.S. Dinesh Tiwari, Gramin Dak Sevak Anuj Kumar, Suresh Kumar from Varanasi East division and mail overseer Sanjay Kumar, Gramin Dak Sevak Deepu Sharma, Preeti Gupta, Surendra Kumar Singh, Mohd. Hafeez Ahmed from Varanasi West division were awarded for their excellent work.

On this occasion, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi East Division Rajan,  Superintendent of Posts Varanasi West Division Krishna Chandra, Assistant Director Ram Milan, Senior Postmaster Chandrashekhar Singh Barua, Postmaster Cantt Head Post Office R. S. Verma, including many officers  participated with great enthusiasm and celebrated the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
