Plantation is necessary to save the environment – Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

Plantation is very important to save the environment. Trees not only purify our environment, but also provide fresh air for life.  The corona pandemic has also warned that playing with the environment is fatal.  In such  situation, to keep the entire earth and nature safe and balanced, we have to make people aware of the environment.  The above words were expressed by the Postmaster General of Varanasi Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav while planting saplings in the Varanasi Cantt Head Post Office campus on ‘World Environment Day’.  On this occasion, many officials of the Postal Department also gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings following the covid protocol.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that there is a need to reconsider the relationship between human being and environment in the era of corona pandemic.  In Indian tradition, trees are worshiped as God.  If the environment is pure, then the behavior will also be pure.  Trees play an important role in keeping the environment clean and pollution free. It is the responsibility of every person to plant a sapling.

On this occasion, Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav also called upon the postal employees to draw their attention towards the increasing pollution in the environment and the anomalies arising due to it, and also called upon every postal employee to become a partner in their redressal by planting saplings.  Shri Yadav said that in our tradition, one tree is considered equal to ten children, because trees serve us for generations.  He said that by fulfilling the responsibility of planting trees and protecting them, the world can be saved from future destruction.

On this occasion, Superintendent of Post Office Varanasi West Division Sanjay Kumar Verma, Assistant Director Ram Milan, Assistant Superintendent of Posts Ajay Kumar,  Investigation Inspector Shrikant Pal, Postmaster of Cantt Head Post Office Ramashankar Verma, Rajendra Yadav, Shri Prakash Gupta, Rakesh Kumar along with many employees were present.
