CM Trivendra Singh Rawat participated in hoisting 125 foot long tri-colour in Uttaranchal University

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that tricolour is symbol of nation’s pride, identity, spirit and unity. He said country and country’s sacrifices earns respect in itself through nation’s flag, and motivates youths towards patriotism. He was expressing his views at the flag hoisting function of newly established 125-foot tall tri-colour at Uttaranchal University of Friday.

After terming youths as future of the country, Rawat said that country would surely follow the path of development, if they work with zeal, and enthusiasm. He said one should be self-motivated to do something for country. According to him, Uttarakhand is better known as educational hub and students from across the country come here for study.  He said plans are in the pipeline to constitute “Bharat-Bharati” organisation with an aim to present India’s culture through folk programmes so that the people are acquainted with country’s culture at one place.

State Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, MLA S.S. Pundir, Uttaranchal University Chancellor Jeetandra Joshi, Uttaranchal University Vice President Anuradha Joshi and Vice Chancellor Rajat Singh alongwith others  were present during the function.
