State government adopting zero tolerance towards corruption: CM Rawat

Dehradun: Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat attended a programme “TRANSFORM UTTARAKHAND CONCLAVE” organized by a News Channel (Zee Uttar Pradesh – Uttarakhand) at a hotel on Haridwar Road on Wednesday. On this occasion, people doing commendable work in various fields were honoured. Chief Minister said that in the last one year and three months, the state government has worked keeping in mind the public feelings. For transparency and adopting zero tolerance towards corruption policy, steps are being taken. SIT has been constituted in the state against corruption. On NH-74, a big scam related to the land compensation has come to fore which is being investigated now. In tthis scam, more than 20 people have been sent to jail till now. The investigation into the foodgrain scam is also going on. The RFC was dismissed in the food scandal. More than 20 teachers who have got jobs on the basis of fake certificates in the education department have been terminated. Under the public facilities, 162 services have been added to the Right of Service.

Chief Minister said that in order to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, to double the income of farmers till 2022, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Kisan Kalyan Yojna has been started in the state. Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers are being given a loan of up to one lakh rupees only at interest rate of 02 per cent. Bankers have been asked to do all possible help to provide loans to the farmers. The State Government is getting a lot of support for the development of the state. In the last ten years, the amount of money received in Uttarakhand from the center in the field of agriculture, this year the state has received more money. Chief Minister said that 5.38 lakh families of Uttarakhand will be benefitted under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. He said that keeping an eye on the path shown by the Prime Minister, this scheme has been made universal by the Uttarakhand government, so that this facility will be available to all 20 lakh families of the state. Free gas connections are being given to the families having annual income less than two and a half lakhs under the Ujjwala scheme.
