
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has given clear instructions to Mrs. Deepa Ranjan, Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission, to pay special attention to the review meetings held at the block level on the first Tuesday of every month for group Sakhis, on the second Tuesday for Bank Sakhis, FLCRPs (Financial Literacy Community Resource Persons) and Vidyut Sakhis, on the third Tuesday for Livelihood Sakhis and Industry Sakhis, and on the fourth Tuesday for FNHW CRPs (Food, Nutrition, Health, and Sanitation Resource Persons). In these meetings, their complaints are addressed and suggestions are considered.As per the Deputy Chief Minister’s instructions, the department is taking revolutionary steps towards women’s empowerment and self-reliance in Uttar Pradesh. By connecting women through self-help groups and engaging them in various activities, they are not only empowered with self-reliance, but every effort is being made to elevate them to the category of Lakhpati Didi. By coordinating with various departments, the income of the Didi groups is being increased. In line with the vision and intention of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, “Prerna Diwas” is being organized every Tuesday at the development block level to ensure that the Didi groups face no difficulties or obstacles in their activities.
